Što je novo na blogu?

Uh oh, now I'm the guy who liveblogged the Osama raid without knowing it.

Da, jucer je nestalo zlo sa zemlje, ubijen je Osama Bin Laden, iako bih mogao uci u raspravu oko toga, ali zbilja ne zelim ulaziti, svrha ovog posta je nesto sasvim drugacija. Naime vec je poznato kako se twitter koristio u kriznim situacijama,od potresa, pozara do poplava u Hrvatskoj, no jucerasnji dan ipak je bio jedan od vaznijih u twitter izvjestavanju. Naime svi oni koji su pratili Sohaiba Athara , Pakistanskog programera i konzultanta mogli su sasvim slucajno pratiti cijelu operaciju SAD-a i samo ubijanje Osame Bin Ladena.

Zanimljivo je kako je tek 7 sati kasnije predsjednik Obama objavio smrt Bin Ladena i operaciju u kojoj je SAD sudjelovao. Stoga tehnicki, 7 sati prije, mnogi su znali sto se dogodilo u Abbottabadu. Iako je ovo bila brza i tajna operacija, zanimljivo mi je s operativnog djela kako je moguce da je Sohaib Athar imao signal za twittanje, jer Americka vojska posjeduje mobilne uredjaje za ometanje signala, a obzirom na opseznost operacije, ocekvao bih ne samo da ometaju signal vec da i prekinu struju te internet u cijelom kvartu, sto je praksa prilikom takve operacije.

Da, twitter je postao glavno sredstvo informiranja, pa cak i ovakvog tipa, gdje zapravo osoba niti ne zna da izvjestava. A izgleda da je Sohaib usao u povijest, barem onu internetsku kao prva osoba koja je izvjestavala tajnu operaciju SAD-a i ubojstvo Osame Bin Ladena.

Bijela kuca koja uspjesno koristi drustvene medije za komunikaciju,objavila je i fotografije na svom sluzbenom Flickr albumu iz situation room, odnosno sobe za krizna stanja.
